See if the rotor is set on Speech rate. Suggest you set it to
something like Vertical Navigation to avoid such unwanted changes.

Hi guys.
Frequently when using my Iphone the speech starts going up in
increments, until I can hardly understand what Voice-over is saying.
Can anyone tell me the keystroke required to slow it down and if
possible, loch the speech rate at a comfortable level?
