Hi again Herbie and others. Well, I’ve been flicking around
settings all morning looking for anything that sounds like quick
Roughter, so that I can change the part that is speading up my
voice-over rate.
I’m afraid you guys have left me way, way behind and I’ll never
begin to understand your instructions.
When I touch my Iphone screen , voice-over may say 20%, then 30%
and so on until I flick the other way and it then may say 50%, 40%
30% etc.
I’ve no intention of changing my voice-over rate, why should I
need to.
All I’m wanting to do is arrow right through my settings or back
up through them to check my battery level, but the rate of my
speech simply increases until I cannot understand what voice-over
is saying any longer.
I can get into settings, so from there, where do I go to get into
the Roughter settings please?

Yes, if you go into the VoiceOver Settings, and adjust the options
for the quick roter, you can move Rate so it’s the first option.

Frequently when using my Iphone the speech starts
going up in increments, until I can hardly understand
what Voice-over is saying.
Can anyone tell me the keystroke required to slow it
down and if possible, loch the speech rate at a
comfortable level?
