I do not bother with quick settings. I find using the Voiceover
rotor on the iPhone more than sufficient. All the standard options are
available on the rotor.

Yes, if you go into the VoiceOver Settings, and adjust the options for
the quick roter, you can move Rate so it’s the first option.

Frequently when using my Iphone the speech starts
going up in increments, until I can hardly understand
what Voice-over is saying.
Can anyone tell me the keystroke required to slow it
down and if possible, loch the speech rate at a
comfortable level?
