I think we have to be honest here; if we’re choosing macOS it certainly isn’t 
(exclusively) about accessibility. I’m not defending Apple at all, it really is 
rubbish, but there’s a workaround (switching tabs sometimes also works too). 
Also, I find that these bugs have made it into Sequoia and Sonoma by virtue of 
their being backported in newer versions of Safari. Report to Apple, as usual.

Frankly, I’m more worried about the fact that Tahoe has destroyed the utility 
of VMWare Fusion for VoiceOver users. Yes, I *know* I can use Parallels, but
