Vic,
First you sure need to learn to moderate your attitude. I was not reducing your 
issue to something of no value and was unclear if you literally meant this was 
your job and I mean as a daily task. YOu were given an option by Anne and 
someone else has mentioned using the  Terminal as another route. In addition it 
was not clear you were talking about moving gigs of files, but nevertheless you 
have options so good luck.
