It would be easier to setup a keystroke using VO's keyboard commander.

1. Open the VO Utility.
2. Navigate to the Commander option in the utility category table.
3. Select the keyboard tab.
4. Enable the keyboard commander (note you will have the option to determine
which option key you will use to activate scripts and the default is the right
option key.)
4. Select either the right or left option key as described above.
5. There is a table with some predefined actions, which only show you the
character you would use in conjunction with the option key to activate that
option and also what that action will be.
6. If you tab, you will find an add button. This button will allow you to
choose a key and action.
7. When you press add you will enter the character used in conjunction with the
option key and in my case I used the equals key.
8. Press tab to reach a menu button that when activated will allow you to
choose an action. These actions are split into submenus you expand with the
right arrow key.
9. You want the Web submenu and in there you will find the option to toggle
from dom to group.
