Cheree Heppe here:

What voice are you using on your Mac and is this voice globally available on
Apple devices?

I am wondering whether that voice is available on an IPad?

Thanks to you and others who take the time and have the expertise to make these
instructive podcasts.

Regards,
Cheree Heppe

Subject: How To Get VoiceOver To Automatically Read Messages in Apple Mail

  Hello Jonathan,

First, I changed the subject line to better reflect the discussion in which
we are now engaging.

  2.
In my podcast on this subject, I demonstrate how to change the default email
header preferences in Apple Mail so that messages will once again, just as in
previous versions of the Mac OS, begin reading automatically.

Please Click Here to take another listen to the episode.

  Mark,

I probably shouldn't bring in a seperate issue here..., but hI
listened to your p'cast on reading mail on the Macintosh, and I don't
get my mail messages to auto-read when they open. I first have to
interact with the text block. Have you ever experienced this? In
Leopard, the message block would read without issue, but since
upgrading, this has not worked for me.
  Thanks,

  Jon
