The function of read by characters or read by words with quicknav is one of the things I really like about it. But there is what I consider a bug and wonder if others agree. Say you are in the middle of some text with qn on and you want to get the spelling of a word or read word by word from the place where you are at that moment. I find that changing to words or characters results in qn starting from the beginning of the focused element rather than reading me the word or characters starting from where I actually am in the text, which may be several lines away from the start. Is this how its suppose to be? Makes no sense, since navigating using the "navigation" setting works to move line by line in such texts for instance. Mary Otten [email protected]
