Hello Nektarios,
In pdas and notepooks if you find "power management" that is where you turn off things that you don't need. Now I don't know the odds of a Macbook. But you'd want to turn off programs that you hardly ever use. There're things that run upon bootup. These are the kind of thing only experienced power users will know. I am not one of those experienced power users, but those are the things you want to look for.
good luck!
Isaac

Subject: macbook pro battery.

Hello list. This computer has long battery life according to the specs. They say up to 10 hours. I new that this is not true, especially for us voice over users. However, I am getting about 3 hours when the battery is fully charged. Is this normal? I of course have my screen brightness to 0. Will the screen curtain function of voice over help?
What are your observations with battery and macbook pro?

Nektarios.
