Hi, When using VO to do the Drag and Drop process like you're mentioning, it does not perform the task as it would for a sighted user. If you wish to move things from one location to the other as in from the Downloads folder to any other folder, use the script downloadable from this link:
http://www.universalaccess.it/script-english/ Otherwise, you're option is to copy the items using cmd-c then pasting them to your desired location with cmd-v then going back to the original location and trashing those items. VO's Drag and Drop process simply doesn't act as you would expect it to when in the Finder. It's better than it was when it was first introduced but still not perfect. HTH. Later...
