It already has the a4 cpu in it which is working out very well for speed and battery life, so I don't really see why they would want to change this, although as you said, we'll probably see a ram increase.
I'd considder purchasing it if we had standard usb and an sd card reader, but until then, I'll stick to my android tablet thanks.
