I think we will see the inclusion of USB, as this will be very handy for 
plugging in USB game pad controllers, USB headsets for Video calls, USB 
keyboards and printers, and of course USB MIDI music devices which 4.2 now 
supports.

I can't see Apple adding support for external memory.  I would welcome the iPad 
being slimmer and lighter though and the screen resolution does need to be 
improved (not that I would benefit from that now as I can no longer see the 
screen)
