Since the a4 seems to have been designed exclusively for apple
products, I would argu that given the cost of research and
development, they probably won't have scene a big enough return on
there investment to start killing it a year after they first announced
it.

Plus, they can do other things to the iPad to make it run faster -
e.g. ram or nand flash upgrades.
