Hi All, I'm a new Mac user who was convinced to jump in thanks to Mike's excellent podcasts on BlindCoolTech. I have considerable Windows and Linux experience already, but this is my first real Mac venture. I'm the proud owner of a new Macbook Pro. Setup seems to have gone quite well, and I was extremely happy to be able to do it without any outside assistence. I do, however, have some initial questions. I instant message a lot, and was wondering if there was a better way to handle it than constantly interacting with the HTML content to view replies. I'd love a somewhat more automatic system, as especially with multiple conversations going at once it can get confusing. On a completely unrelated issue, how do I open the various folders which are on my Dock? Cmd+o, enter, and VO+space have all failed to do the expected thing. Any information on these two initial questions would be greatly appreciated. I'm starting to like the system already and will probably have more as I go along. Thanks in advance for any help.
