I just got my new MacBook Pro a week and a half ago. I started college last week and am still working on learning my new Mac.
Right now I'm having a problem. A serious one right now. .doc or .docx word files are showing up as .dat documents when sent to my email as attatchments. I can't open and view them. Since these are college documents this is a problem! What do I need to do to fix this? I need to open these documents.
