Hello Georges, I have read your post several times and am not sure of the underlying problem.
Did you attempt to use some kind of unattended file installation system or did you follow the exact steps listed in the Boot Camp instructions? If you will recall, Boot Camp strongly recommends that one prints out the instructions before beginning the procedure. I do not mean to imply that your difficulty has anything to do with any mistakes you may have made. I just want to be clear on how you proceeded. The reason I am confused is because during a normal XP startup on an average PC, it is very common to receive a message that says that one can press any key to boot from the Windows CD. Finally, as silly as it may sound, did you remember to remove the Windows XP CD from the drive before booting the Mac?
