I think it would be lots more practicle to have a cute little USB or bluetooth
Braille keyboard. If there were such a device,
assuming it was affordible, I would buy it in a heartbeat. I just can't imagine
pressing multiple typing keys to make the
braille letters. My hands wouldn't do that. But a USB or bluetooth braille
keyboard would probably be super tiny and
portible. I wonder if any adaptive tech companies have thought to come up with
a device like that.

Subject: Wouldn't a braille keyboard be nice?

I was just thinking...

I wonder if there is a way to somehow type on my macbook as if it were a
braille keyboard. for example, the letters f d and
s would be dots 1, 2, and 3, and j k and l be dots 4, 5, and 6. So if I wanted
to type, say the letter d, I'd hit the
letters f, j and k all together. If I wanted say an h, I'd hit the letters f,
d, and k all together, etc.

Obviously, I'd want it to be global where I could do this regardless what
window had fovus while still being able to maintain
normal voiceover navigation.

Do you all see this as something I should write apple some feedback about? I
think this would be a really full-on feature,
provided that there isn't already, even with a 3rd party app or keyboard layout
to do this.

Chris.
