You're right Zack, I can't change them with the sapi5 versions either.

I don't know about you, but I don't recall being able to change the pitch
of these voices under Windows either. SOme voices simply have this
limitation, such as the Acapella group's.

Yes, I'm not kidding, you cannot change the pitch or the intonation for
any of the Nuance voices.
I've tried and thought for a moment that I had too much beer, but no,
Samantha kept talking with the same pitch and intonation, no change.
How disappointing.
