Hello I too had an exchange of emails with the author. He said that the version which was about to come out was probably going to be better, I think it was.2. Haven't checked the site for couple of weeks to see if it's up there yet, but you can reach it by googling Scrivener.
The author did say he had made a lot of the buttons, more accessible after having had some input from a VO user, I think I can guess who that was now:) but he would gladly work to improve it even more if I had a go at the free trial and had any comments. I must say he seems like a really decent bloke and very keen to help in any way.
