Hi Teresa, Thanks for your response. It looks like you have a work around. I tried having my mouse follow the vo cursor, but I can't get to the growl preferences. I would love to get my head around this, but I don't succeed. Could you please describe how you get into the growl preferences on your machine? All I find is the desktop aliases I created, and if I then double tap the middle top of the trackpad, the menubar opens. Along the top, I find its titles for the submenus it contains, and in the far right there is something labeled go to spotlight menu. I also hovered over a few items in the status menus, but it seems as if their location is not always the same. How do you go about it? Now very curious.
