Go to youtube.com/html5 and click the link to join the html 5 trial. Once that 
is done, most videos will play using html 5 instead of flash, not all videos 
will use html 5 though, so some of them will still play using flash, but for 
the html 5 videos, yes, the player controls are very accessible.
