I would be happy if they would simply open up the speech API so that all apps could use open synthesizers. Then we could make voiceover use loquendo and acapella which are already available for the IPhone. This seems the simplest way to go. Open up the API and if some one really wants elloquence for the IPhone, let them develop and use it.
