I am writing this message because I am extremely perplexed and frustrated. I am
using a MacBook Pro that is only 3 months old. It features an Intel 2.7 ghz
dual cor i7 processor, 8 gigs of ram, and a 500 gig hard disk. I am running
Lion with all software updates applied. Here is my problem. When ever I use
Finder to copy files, or, for that matter, to look at any files and folders, I
receive "finder busy" messages and can do nothing. The only way I can return
Finder to its normal behavior is to force quit and relaunch it, and even then
the return to normal behavior is temporary. I am at a total loss as to what I
can do about this issue, but it is rendering many functions useless. If this
kind of behavior was happening on a Windows machine, I could think of several
things I could try in order to remedy it. However, I am clueless here. This is
rendered even more frustrating because I am attempting to use this computer as
my primary machine. Any ideas any of you may have would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance for any and all help.
