There is an "add application shortcut," button, and I was able to get a shortcut created, but only as an experiment, as that app was bound more effectively elsewhere. However, one thing that I cannot get it to do is replicate the "menu command," which the shortcut creation editor asks for: as in, "please enter the menu command exactly as shown." I never got that part to work.
