Thanks for that additional information that actually worked for these goofy 
links.  My first usual response is to use the context menu but this is a good 
alternative.  I'll bet I would still have to use Option+Return after pasting 
into the address box.  No real problem, at least there is a way to get around 
when the context menu doesn't work for such links.  Thanks to both Esther and 
Anne for the suggestions.
