Hi, you can just turn off VO sound effects. That what it sounds like it is to me. this is in VO utilities under sounds. I believe it actually says,mute sound effects. I actually prefers this. It makes navigating with VO more responsive. There isn't that split second delay between hearing the sound, and the command actually occuring.
