Hi Mary, I don't know what it stands for so someone else can chine in there but the best way I can describe it to you is that if you have a favourite website e.g. a blog and they have an RSS on that site then if you clicked on that RSS link or whatever element the RSS happens to be, it will put it into your RSS programme so you would be getting updates from the website but through the programme. In other words as long as the feed doesn't brake in the future, you don't even need to go to the website you can just view it in your RSS programme. I hope that makes sence. LOL
