Hi all, I have a stupid question. I was looking at Textedit yesterday, and found it supports lists, tables, bolding, justification, centering, and so on. So, except for embeding images, what can MS Office, Libre Office, or Open Office do that Textedit cannot? Basically, why the need for a more powerful editor when this one seems to have it covered pretty well? I always hear variation of, "the mac is fine unless you want to actually get work done", and I was wondering about Textedit, so I had a look, and it seems quite capable.
