Pages is accessible. That is the word equivalent in the iwork suite. Text edit 
does have a decent amount of features built in. Comparing it to notepad or word 
pat simply doesn't do text edit the proper justice. Unless you're doing complex 
word processing, you might not need pages. Oh, just another quick note. For 
those of you familiar with my site, chicksdigmacs.net, bean is up there. The 
Mac app entry has a link to the bean download page, and the dmg is on the old
