Well, I confess I'm astounded. I went kicking and screaming into Windows 95, but I had to switch for my job, so switch I did. I've never had much love for Windows, but you couldn't pay me enough to trade in my Mac for a DOS machine. And I think that distinction you make between a computer being a tool or a toy is a lot more grey than it used to be. For example, I just moved, and we haven't even bothered to unpack our CDs, because my whole music library is on my Mac--and a lot of it is even on my phone. My phone is now my alarm clock. I, too, run a business, and I use Skype to talk with clients. I use iCal to set up appointments and keep a schedule. I loved using Pine for email back in the day, but Mac Mail is much more functional. To each his or her own, but I think you're missing out on a lot. :) Cheers, Donna On Jul 31, 2012, at 12:34 PM, Karen Lewellen <[email protected]> wrote:
