Yes running it virtually will work and you do have the advantage of being able to switch from mac OSX to windows without a restart. However, my main issues with running windows virtually is that running both operating systems side by side taxes your ram and processor a lot more and could also effect data read/write if you have a 5400rpm drive. Also, there have been some issues with certain drivers and software authorization when running windows virtually, although this seems to happen less with windows seven...
Of course, these things are probably of little concern for people doing non intensive general computing on a daily basis. I use both my macs for audio production work so need to be a tad paranoid about CPUand ram usage etc. Just my two cents... Cameron.
