Hi Yes you can call any phone if you have purchased skype credit. I've not done that from the app, but I was assuming Christine was wanting to call skype to skype without the credit. If you want to call someone free on skype, you need to add them as a skype contact using their skype name. And as Ricardo says, that person needs to be signed into skype before you can call them. I don't have skype credit so can't tell you how to do that using the app.
