You were correct; I was trying to call Skype to Skype. Now I'm trying to set Skype up on my Mac, because I was asked to interview on an Internet radio show via Skype, and I was told that using the iPhone will produce too much echoing for that sort of thing. But I'm having a heck of a time. The set-up guide is showing empty html, and when I just opened Skype to take the tour, and clicked on set-up, there is no real guidance of any kind -- I'm hearing things like "no microphone" and "play" which plays the Skype noise, but attempts to do anything with the pop-up menus results in a very odd, rapid bunch of what sounds like numbers, but I cannot interact to make any choices. I also have not the slightest idea how to test the camera for video calls, and as I have mentioned earlier, I can't seem to find any information on using this from a blind person's point of view.
