Don't bother trying it on the mac, it is totally inaccessible. I had to 
configure things in Windows (on bootcamp), then export the finished vm, copy it 
over to the mac partition, and import it. Now I just open the .vbox file and it 
works. I'll have a sighted person give me a hand with that host keys option, 
thanks for the tip. The volume slider in windows does absolutely nothing, and 
at a guess, I'd say the mac is twice as loud as windows even when windows is at 
100% volume.
