How do I read dialogs? Everything I mentioned is all I'm aware of that's going
on on my screen.

  Hi,

It's likely something like iCloud that is requiring your Apple ID and
password. You need to let us know exactly why it's asking for the password.
That is, what does the entire dialog say. It's difficult to tell you how to
stop that from appearing when there's not enough info to be specific. There's
a number of things that could be causing this to appear.

    Hi All,
It seems that when my MacBook Pro is on, its stuck in some sort of
set-up screen of sorts.I already have an Apple ID and password, and not sure
if this info needs to be entered too.
