I will do my best to chime in on this subject.

I used windows since 1995 in college and 1998 at home. I found the switch fro 
Windows to Mac rather arduous because my computer had a couple not serious 
issues and I didn't have training (I hadn't found this list yet) Once the 
learning curve was over, I find Mac easier and more intuitive but there are 
some things I like better about windows to this day. I like the feedback that 
voice over provides, for example, when copying and pasting, but I like burning 
css on windows better. For utilizing talking communities chat client, I prefer 
windows but for Skype I prefer Mac.
