HI Brian, YOu don't need a Readability account to use Readability mode in ReadKit. The Readability mode in ReadKit just displays the full text of the article without annoying links and the like even if the owners of the feed have tried to only include a teaser in the RSS feed. To use it, press the letter G when you have an article selected. Then navigate twice to the right to the HTML area and interact. You will then be able to read the full text of the article. No new window or anything will open up, but VoiceOver will announce, "View with Readability".
I use Feed Wrangler to manage and sync my feeds. So for me, I do all the deleting feeds and creating folders on the Feed Wrangler website. So sorry, I can't help you manage feeds from within ReadKit. So far Feed Wrangler has been completely accessible, though not as simple and easy to use as NewsRack with Google Reader. All the best for which ever path you take! If you learn of any other options which you find are more like NewsRack and Google Reader please share.
