Hi, Scott: I would appreciate that very much. Thanks for engaging in this discussion and being willing to provide some feedback. Once a person takes the time to learn the layout of Blackboard, it's really not horrible, at least as far as I've seen. That being said, prepare to pack a lunch if you're working on the site because you probably won't do anything quickly, at least for a while.

Hi Jamie, I amn a student who uses Blackboard on a regular basis. If your college or university keeps on the versions of Blackboard honestly I wouldn't see any problems. It's aweful accessible in Windows like you say. When I go to upload my assignment today I'll try uploading it with Blackboard on my IOS device and let you know. This semester, I am required to use Blackboard in the instruction of my class. Fortunately, I am not required to use many of the functions of Blackboard. A very basic use of the system is all that is required. While Blackboard is definitely accessible on Windows especially when using NVDA and Jaws, it takes quite a bit of work to really learn to use the system with a screen reader. I am perfectly happy to use Windows to access Blackboard unless the site works significantly better with Safari on the Mac. Are there any instructors on this list who can shed some light on the subject? The student perspective is welcome as well, but I especially wish to hear from instructors. I've been a part of mailing lists long enough to not be upset by dead silence, so if nobody has any words of wisdom for me, I am ok with a complete lack of response on this thread. > > Thanks for all responses. > -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "MacVisionaries" group.
