• It sounds to me like one of your accounts is still using POP. Just turning on iMap at the Google end does not ensure that the accounts are using iMap on your various devices. Check in your Mail Preferences on your Mac to confirm that it is using the iMap protocol. It should tell you this in the Account Information pane of the Accounts tab. Similarly, confirm that you're using iMap on your iPhone, it should tell you this when in Settings/Mail, Contacts & Calendars for your GMail account. If both are using iMap, then you may need to tweak the Settings in the Mailbox Behaviours tab of Accounts on your Mac. HTH. Later...
