Hi, Press cmd-4 while in the App Store to bring up your Purchase History. You can then Interact with the Purchases Table and navigate to the Mavericks row to check its progress. It all depends on your network connection and how busy Apple’s servers are for how fast it will download. Note, though, that Mavericks is about 5.29 GB so it could take a while.
