If you are looking to sync across iPhones, iPads, etc than Newsify is fantastic. I am not sure if they have a mac client as since the demise of Google Reader I stopped using RSS on the Mac and solely use it on the iPhone. I got tired of Lire as I have a lot of feeds and I know it only allows 5000 articles and was having some issues with parsing certain feeds. At least Newsify has 20,000 limits, and since I started playing around with it a lot more I have come to really love it.
