For my RSS needs, at the moment I’m using shrook. It’s free and pretty
accessible once you figure out how to navigate it. Basically, you want to use
the keyboard, not VO focus to use it. The interface is kind of like a tree, and
has 4 areas you’ll really be using. The first is a table with folders, EG
subscriptions, new items, or any onew ones you create. When you hit right
arrow, you’ll be on the second table listing all feeds in that folder,a s well
as a “all” option at the top. If you go right again, you’ll be on the list of
stories in the feed(s). Hit right again and you’ll be placed in an HTML view
which has the summary, as well as a “show webpage” button which will let you
continue reading with the internal browser. When you’re done with all that,
going left moves you back through every element. There’s also an iOS app,
which I haven’t tried yet.
