You are right, the other partition with Boot Camp was not accessible (toned down). Do you mean that it is possible to configure Time Capsule to backup only the Boot Camp partition to an attached external usb disc? In fact, i am pretty sure that i saw both the Lacie and Boot Camp and McIntosh HD as possible target disks, but to get Time Machine to understand this, time will tell.
I have external Lacie SSD and MyPassport spinning HD. Both works fine with mac.
