The answer for your 3 questions is yes. If you choose to track changes you can 
do it. Changes tracking is a little tricky with VO, but it works fine when you 
get use to it. The replication of the changes on real time in your local 
computer occurs depending on your network connection, but it is usually very 
fast.
I work sometimes with 2 coulleages and I can see what they do almost instantly, 
so they can, when they refresh their browser.
