There is too little information in the report - no kernel version, no gcc
version, no warning. I compiled current Madwifi (rev 1411) with no
warnings against current Linux from git for IXP425. Many drivers in the
kernel pass pointers as addresses to writel() and other related functions.
I believe it's platform specific code that should be fixed, not Madwifi.
