#505: Madwifi Build Error, I did what the faq says, still no luck. SuSe 10

I am using suse 10. When entering "make" command in madwifi-ng directory I
get this error: Makefile.inc:119: *** KERNELCONF: /lib/modules/2.6.13-
15.8-default/build/.config does not exist.. Stop.
I did what the fact said to: When I type in "ls -al build" I get:
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 43 Mar 30 04:27 build -> /usr/src/linux-2.6.13-
15.8-obj/i386/default
Im not sure what to do next. Im a novice when it comes to linux. Any
pointer would be deeply appreciated
