IMHO, there is one basic goal: make sure that the development and
improvement of the driver continues. Everything else, such as "support
developers" or "provide technical resources needed for the development",
are derived from this basic goal.
As an optimist I'd say that, if this goal is always kept in mind, the NPO
more or less automatically does "the right thing".
