Thanks for your report.
It's very unlikely that this behaviour is introduced in r1590, since this
changeset does not modify the driver source (apart from a few include-
related things). It would be helpful if you could try to determine with
which revision actually began. Do you think you can manage to elaborate a
bit on that until tomorrow (since it might be worth to consider this a
blocker for the 0.9.0 release)?
Can anyone confirm this behaviour, either on Dapper or on another distro?
