Sorry, that was a misunderstanding, I'm running r1590 at the moment (being
the most current), but I don't know how long this bug (if it is one) has
been there. I've installed madwifi-ng on my Dapper laptop for the first
time sometime around Monday last week (around r1550 I guess) and
experienced the same problem, but did not catch it to be madwifi related
until I upgraded the kernel today (so madwifi-ng could not be loaded on
boot and it was fast, but hung after recompile/installation of madwifi-
ng).
I'll try to figure out an estimate in which release this started. Might be
as well an Ubuntu/udev bug or just my stupidity.
