I have installed madwifi from RPM's on both SUSE 10.1 and Fedora Core 5.
I am using a DWL-G650 wireless card and a DI-624 wireless router (both
DLink products). Madwifi works if I use NO encryption of any kind. If I
try to use WEP encryption, madwifi just fails.

I am able to scan for AP's. I am able to do everything properly,
according to the Newbie guide on the madwifi homepage. However, when it
comes time to issue to the dhclient command to grab an IP address, the
system churns for a while and then fails. If I try to assign an IP
address manually (including routes, etc) nothing happens -- no
 connectivity.
